Dr. Christine Hatfield is a popular health and wellness speaker and an expert in hormone balance. Blending the principles of conventional and functional medicine, she guides her clients towards optimal health, focusing on treating the root cause and not just the symptoms of disease.
A licensed and experienced gynecologist, Dr. Hatfield spent many years dedicated to women’s health before expanding her knowledge and interest in functional medicine. Functional medicine is a personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers patients and practitioners to achieve the highest expression of health by working in collaboration to address the underlying causes of disease.
She has dedicated more than 10 years of additional study and practice to develop her expertise in this exciting field of medicine, including training/certification with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and The Institute for Functional Medicine.
Her areas of expertise include the support of healthy aging with bio-identical hormone therapy for women and men, as well as hormone balancing for individuals suffering with symptoms of perimenopause, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid, adrenal and metabolic dysfunction.
Outside of work, Dr. Hatfield enjoys tap dance, photo scrapbooking, Pilates, spoiling her cats and traveling with her husband and three daughters.
